The queerness in this work is subtle, not overt. To bring visibility to spaces often not seen fully, while highlighting the partial and fragmented I am able to suggest other spatial and relational possibilities existing all around, always. Queer bodies and identities are often lived in the partial – certain aspects of self are hidden, or displayed, depending on the surrounding physical and social environments.

I am also possibly interested in working with the older architecture cradling the gallery space, and the light that is drawn inside the gallery over the course of the day. I have begun to work with light as an expression of innerness. This would require spending more time in the space and understanding what kind of access I could have to the windows.
