Writing the Erotic: Workshop

Location: SF LGBT Community Center, 1800 Market @ Octavia
Examine the levels of sex and how they are described in literature with the sultry C.C. Carter. Participants will be asked to go beyond the cliché’ in writing the erotic, push past obvious metaphors and similes, and work beyond the scope of abstract to look right in front of them for concrete realness. Participants will create work that evoke the six senses, need pen and paper, and are asked to bring five extraneous items that appear to have no significant meaning to sex. This workshop for all levels of writers and is open to all genders. Limit: 15 participants.
