Army of Lovers presents "Formerly Known As," two nights of art, video and performance by 30 men who've worked in the sex industry. Kirk Read curates this festival, featuring male sex workers of different ages and backgrounds, bringing together a group of people who often operate in isolation from one another. You will hear true stories about hustling in Pershing Square in the 1940s, the kidnapping fantasies of professional masters, porn shoots gone awry and transguys pioneering new sex work markets. There will be visual art, naked performance art, music and video. All people are welcome.

Co-presented by the National Queer Arts Festival, Sex Worker Fest, Army of Lovers and the Center for Sex and Culture.
